AStudio ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Avish. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign up via Clerk, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
Usage Data: We log which AI tools you use, the number of credits consumed, and generation history to power your dashboard.
Payment Information: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. AStudio never stores your full card number. We only receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Communications: If you contact us via the contact form or email, we store your name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.
Newsletter: If you subscribe, we store your email address via our newsletter service. You can unsubscribe at any time.
2. How We Use Your Information
Provide, operate, and improve the AStudio platform and AI tools.
Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
Send our weekly newsletter if you opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
Analyse usage patterns to improve tool quality and user experience.
Respond to support enquiries and contact form submissions.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
Clerk โ handles authentication and user identity. They store your sign-in credentials and profile data securely.
Supabase โ our database provider. Your generation history, credits, and profile are stored here.
Anthropic โ your text inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate AI outputs. Anthropic's privacy policy governs that data.
Stripe โ processes all payments. Your card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.
Vercel โ hosts the application. Server logs may be retained briefly for debugging.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
AI generation history is retained per your plan: 7 days (Free), 90 days (Pro), indefinitely (Agency).
If you delete your account, your profile and generation data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Stripe billing records are retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years).
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions (managed by Clerk).
We use analytics cookies (privacy-respecting) to understand how users navigate the site.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can manage cookie preferences via our Cookie Settings link in the footer.
6. Your Rights
Access: You can view your data in your dashboard at any time.
Correction: Update your name and email in your account settings.
Deletion: Request full account deletion by emailing avishkunwar6@gmail.com.
Data Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
Unsubscribe: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to opt out.
GDPR / CCPA: If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights. Contact us at avishkunwar6@gmail.com to exercise them.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit.
Passwords are never stored โ authentication is handled by Clerk using secure tokens.
Database access is restricted using Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS).
Payment data is never stored on our servers โ Stripe handles it with PCI-DSS compliance.
8. Children's Privacy
AStudio is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a banner on the site. Continued use of AStudio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
